ARGENTO, H. - appointed 2020

Hilary Argento is a retired Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta (AMAA) with more than 30 years of experience as an Assessor with the City of Calgary. Ms. Argento previously served three years on the Municipal Government Board and was appointed to the Assessment Review Board in 2020.  Ms. Argento holds certificates in Real Property Assessment, Local Government Studies, and Statistical Analysis. 

COOLIDGE, K. - appointed 2020

Kate Coolidge holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary. Ms. Coolidge has served on several boards and panels, including the Extrajudicial Sanctions Program Panel, the City of Calgary’s Licence and Community Standards Appeal Board and Assessment Review Board, and the Government of Alberta’s Ministry of Community and Social Services Appeal Panel and the Alberta Utilities Commission.

CZECHOWSKYJ, A. - appointed 2020

Andy Czechowskjy is a native Calgarian and a retired Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta (AMAA) and retired Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) with 40 years of professional experience in the assessment field. Mr. Czechowskjy served with both the City of Calgary Assessment Department and the City of Airdrie Assessment Department.

DAVIS, S. - appointed 2024

Shawn Davis holds a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Ms. Davis has more than 20 years of professional experience in the consulting, not-for-profit, and oil and gas sectors, with leadership roles in communications, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management. Ms. Davis later oversaw the corporate real estate portfolio and human resources operations of a Calgary based pipeline company, managing major construction projects, facilities, leases, and HR services, prior to her retirement in 2022. Ms. Davis is an Accredited Member (APR) of the Canadian Public Relations Society and served on its Calgary Chapter Board of Directors, including as President.

DENNIS, M. - appointed 2025

Murray Dennis began his career as an Appraiser with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, later serving as Calgary Branch Program Appraiser for Lending Operations.  Mr. Dennis spent 22 years in various roles within the City of Calgary’s Assessment Department before transitioning to being a Land Agent and subsequently served seven years as an Assessor with Rocky View County. Mr. Dennis served on the Municipal Government Board from May 2016 and continued his service following its transition to the Land and Property Rights Tribunal until June 2024. Prior to retirement, Mr. Dennis held the Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI), Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta (AMAA), and Senior Member Right of Way Association (SR/WA) designations.  Mr. Dennis also served 20 years in the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve, attaining the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.

EVREN, L. - appointed 2018

Lisa Evren holds a Master of Laws (Taxation) and a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and is registered (inactive) with the New York State Bar. Ms. Evren also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Pomona College and a certificate in third-party mediation from the University of Calgary and the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Ms. Evren has held executive finance positions in the energy, technology, and pharmaceutical sectors and has served on a range of corporate and civic boards.

KIRYCHUK, L. - appointed 2022

Lauren Kirychuk holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Economics) from the University of Saskatchewan, as well as a Master of Education from the University of Calgary. Ms. Kirychuk is a retired Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI) member and has more than 30 years of professional experience in appraisal, assessment, agricultural finance, and postsecondary administration and instruction.

KLIMUK, S. - appointed 2016

Steve Klimuk holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Construction. A Calgary resident since 1966, Mr. Klimuk is a retired member of the Calgary Real Estate Board with professional experience across residential, commercial, and rural practice areas. Mr. Klimuk’s career included management roles in resort planning, development, and construction; new home sales and construction; golf course design and construction; residential, industrial, and commercial land development; and municipal planning, including long range plans, pocket developments, and recreational facility development plans. 

LENSEN, G. - appointed 2020

George Lensen retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in 1996, having served as Audit Officer for the RCMP in British Columbia. Following his RCMP career, Mr. Lensen completed a Master of Business Administration and held senior executive roles in high technology companies. Mr. Lensen founded and operated an at-risk youth facility and established, taught, and managed a nondenominational, values-based K–12 school in Kelowna. Mr. Lensen later founded and owned two biopharmaceutical companies in Alberta and British Columbia. Mr. Lensen has served on numerous boards, including as Director of the Kelowna Regional District Planning Advisory Board, the Calgary RCMP Veterans Association Board, the National RCMP Veterans Association Board and the Professional Standards Board of the Calgary Real Estate Board. Mr. Lensen is currently a Manager with Tink Real Estate in Calgary.

LOACH, B. - appointed 2015

Brian Loach holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants (FCMA).  Mr. Loach held senior financial roles with the City of Calgary, including City Treasurer and Director of Finance. Mr. Loach served as an Appeals Commissioner with the Alberta Appeals Commission for Workers’ Compensation and on several boards, including the Calgary Housing Company, the Calgary Parking Authority, and the Calgary Booster Club. Mr. Loach has also contributed to the accounting profession through service as Chairman of the Calgary Chapter of the Society of Management Accountants and through participation in its discipline and professional conduct processes.

LYNCH, J. – appointed 2026

Jason Lynch holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Urban Land Economics and is a retired Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). Mr. Lynch has more than 40 years of professional experience in the public and private real estate sectors, including property appraisal, negotiations, planning and construction.

MATHESON, R., Chair 2024-2026 - appointed 2016

Robert Matheson holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia and is a retired Barrister and Solicitor. Mr. Matheson has more than 35 years of professional experience as an officer and director of public technology and energy companies and is currently active in an Alberta clean energy fund.

MCCORKELL, T. - appointed 2016-2018, 2025

Tammy McCorkell has had an extensive career as a senior level decision maker, providing leadership, training, and guidance to a wide range of organizations and quasi-judicial boards. Ms. McCorkell has served in decision making roles across municipal, provincial, and federal governments in areas including risk and property assessment, allocation of financial and health benefits, appeals, alternative dispute resolution, and the imposition of sanctions. Ms. McCorkell holds a Degree in Communication and Culture from the University of Calgary and the professional designations of Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) and Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA). Ms. McCorkell has also completed the Not for Profit Governance Essentials Program through the Institute of Corporate Directors at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, and the University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business.

MORROW, W. - appointed 2021

Wendy Morrow is an Honorary Life Member of the Alberta Real Estate Association and a retired residential Realtor with more than 40 years of professional experience serving Calgary and surrounding municipalities. Licensed in 1983, Ms. Morrow specialized in residential real estate and asset recovery. Ms. Morrow served as a Director of the Calgary Real Estate Board (CREB) for six years, including as Treasurer from 2014 to 2016, and held roles on its Governance and Government Liaison Committees. Ms. Morrow also served as Chair of the CREB Economic Recovery Task Force from 2021 to 2022. Ms. Morrow is currently appointed on an ad hoc basis to the Alberta Real Estate Association and serves on its Nominating Committee. Ms. Morrow is a member of the Executive Committee of the Children’s Hospital Aid Society and is an Accredited Public Speaker.

MOUL, A. - appointed 2022

Adrienne Moul has been an active Realtor with RE/MAX since 2004 and is licensed in residential, commercial, rural, and property management. Ms. Moul practices in Calgary and surrounding communities and has served as a past and present member of various nonprofit and administrative boards related to real estate. Ms. Moul has a strong interest in continuing professional education and technology and has been a resident of the City of Calgary since 1988.

NOEL-BENTLEY, M. - appointed 2025

Matt Noel-Bentley holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Statistics from the University of Calgary, a Master of Business Administration from Athabasca University, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. Following an early career in information technology, Mr. Noel-Bentley established a career as a Lawyer focused on corporate matters, including real property, leasing, mergers and acquisitions, employment, and regulatory work. Mr. Noel-Bentley has been semiretired since 2023.

REVITT, L. - appointed 2017

Larry Revitt is a lifelong Calgarian and holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Calgary. Mr. Revitt practiced law for more than 30 years, primarily in the areas of real estate and corporate and commercial transactions and is a retired member of the Law Society of Alberta. Mr. Revitt currently serves as Vice Chair of the Tax Incentive Appeal Board.

ROCKER, J., Vice Chair 2024-2026 - appointed 2018

Jennifer Rocker is a graduate of the University of Calgary and a Certified Residential Appraiser (P.App., CRA) with the Appraisal Institute of Canada, with more than 25 years of professional experience. Ms. Rocker is the President and Owner of a private appraisal firm specializing in urban, suburban, and acreage properties in Calgary and the surrounding area. Ms. Rocker has served on various tribunals and boards at the municipal, provincial, and federal levels and is actively involved in community volunteer initiatives.

SHARMA, K. - appointed 2017

Kamaljit (Kay) Sharma holds a Bachelor of Arts and has been licensed as a real estate agent in Alberta for more than 30 years. Mr. Sharma has provided a broad range of real estate consulting and agency services, with a primary focus on commercial real estate sales and leasing.

SHOYOMBO, A. - appointed 2025

Adeyemi (Yemi) Shoyombo is an experienced administrative decision maker with an international legal background. Prior to relocating to Canada, Mr. Shoyombo practiced law internationally, gaining experience as a judicial assistant, legal counsel in private practice, and inhouse legal manager with two major Pan-African financial institutions. Mr. Shoyombo is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Canada (CIPP/C) certification. 

SINGH, I. – appointed 2026

Inderpreet Singh is an Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (P.App., AACI) based in Calgary. Mr. Singh is the principal of Truestate Appraisals, an independent appraisal firm specializing in the valuation of commercial assets. Mr. Singh has a strong working knowledge of the Calgary real estate market, zoning regulations, area structure plans, and municipal policy frameworks, enabling valuation within broader planning and development contexts.

STUBER, J.F. - appointed 2016

Joy Stuber is a native Calgarian and holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Calgary. Ms. Stuber was called to the Bar in 1988 and established her own law practice, Stuber and Associates, in 1999, practising law until her retirement in March 2018. 

WALLACE, J. - appointed 2018

Jim Wallace is a retired Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (P.App., AACI) with more than 42 years of professional experience valuing residential and commercial properties in Calgary and the surrounding area. Mr. Wallace founded Wallace Appraisal Services, an independent appraisal firm, in 1993 and is a former licensed real estate agent and longstanding member of the Calgary Real Estate Board.

WONG, S. - appointed 2020

Stanley Wong is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) with experience in commercial real estate, property development, operations, and valuation. Mr. Wong’s career spans roles in public practice, and both public and private sector organizations. Mr. Wong has also served on community boards and organizations.

ZINDLER, A. - appointed 2026

Allan Zindler is a native Calgarian with approximately 45 years of experience in the real estate industry. Mr. Zindler is principal of a real estate appraisal and consulting firm, and owner and broker of a real estate company that is a member of the Calgary Real Estate Board. Mr. Zindler is an Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (P.App., AACI), a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (FRI), and Certified Condominium Specialist (C.C.S.) with the Calgary Real Estate Board.
